BY A STAFF REPORTER: IAF chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary said 7 lakh applications have been received so far in the Agneepath project. On Sunday he said that over 7.5 lakh applications have been received under the new scheme to show the "interest" of youths to join the Air Force.

V R Chaudhari said, "We have received 7.5 lakh applications for the same. This shows the interest of youth to join the armed forces and particularly the Air Force. The big challenge is to complete the selection process on time to start the training, as we had planned in December. ''
