TRINIDAD’S HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OWED MILLIONS IN RENT FROM TENANTS

By a staff reporter: Following a number of reports on issues in HDC communities across the country, the Housing Development Corporation is clearing its name. At a media conference on Thursday, Managing Director Jayselle McFarlane explained that at each of these developments, tenants owe millions of dollars, which she said would assist in the HDC addressing the said issues they're complaining about.
And while Ms McFarlane noted that issues are expected with payments given the covid 19 pandemic, many had owed before it. She said there are several options now available to make payments, including bank arrangements.
