There is massive water shortage in the national capital. Even in Lutyen’s Delhi, government apartments, guest houses are suffering from acute shortage of water with taps running dry early in the morning.
The elite Western Court, an accommodation for guests of parliamentarians went dry on Thursday morning with water shortage in many of the rooms. Even as water level of the Yamuna river continued to rise, flooding portions of the national capital, people elsewhere suffered because of lack of water supply.
What intrigues many in Delhi is the fact that there is no back up plan for such exigencies in the national capital. Why Delhi government or Centre not thought about it and created a back up? The people in Delhi claimed that they are searching for an answer
