Ministers of this state are going to take oath as chief minister

Polling for 230 assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh was held in a single phase on November 17 and counting was done on December 3.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Chief Minister-designate Mohan Yadav and Vishnu Deo Sai will take oath as the new Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, December 13, respectively. Mohan Yadav will take oath as Chief Minister at a ceremony at the Red Parade Ground in the state capital. And Vishnu Sai will take oath today at 2 pm at Science College ground in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and others are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Madhya Pradesh will have two Deputy Chief Ministers - Rajendra Shukla and Jagadish Devda. Former Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will be Speaker of the Assembly.

In Chhattisgarh, BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sharma said on Tuesday that as per ongoing discussions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and other senior party leaders will attend the oath-taking ceremony.
