By A Staff Reporter : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh handed over 12 high-speed guard boats to Vietnam built under a USD 100 million Line of Credit granted to the Southeast Asian country by India.Rajnath Singh handed over the boats at a ceremony at Hong Ha Shipyard on the second day of his visit to Vietnam. He said, ''The event marks the successful completion of GOL's project to build 12 high-speed guard boats under a USD 100 million Defense Line of Credit. This project is a shining example of our 'Make in India - Make for the World' mission. We would be very happy if close friends like Vietnam were part of the transformation of our defense industry through enhanced defense industry cooperation." He tweets, "I am confident that the success of this project will be the forerunner of many more collaborative defense projects."
