Assembly Elections to all the 60 seats in the state will be held on January 16 at Tripura. The BJP has announced candidates for 55 assembly seats. The BJP has left the remaining five seats for its alliance partner Indigenous People's Front of Tripura. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manik Saha will contest from Bardowali seat. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has been campaigning door-to-door in Goala Basti and Masterpara areas of Agartala ahead of tripura elections 2023. Will the BJP come back to power? In response to the question, Manik Saha said, "There is a very good response. The way people are supporting us is much more than in 2018. It shows how many seats we will get in the coming days, much more seats than last time. People are supporting us because of the work of the double engine government. ''
