WBPCB Chairman Dr. Kalyan Rudra Shares A Message On Mission Life

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The West Bengal Pollution Control Board in collaboration with the Environment Department, Government of West Bengal organized a Workshop cum Model Exhibition on April 19, Friday. 

Speaking about the programme, Dr. Kalyan Rudra, Chairman of West Bengal Pollution Control Board said, "Mission Life is an awareness campaign. It is observed across the country. The degradation of ecosystems and the environment has started around the world. As a result of that degradation, the four layers of the earth, i.e the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere, are being severely damaged. As a result, the earth's surface is becoming increasingly warmer. Also, the soil is losing its fertility. The water level is rising. Hence, Mission Life aims to make lifestyle more environmentally friendly."
