Asansol Municipal Corporation's strict instructions to the shopkeepers of Barakar

Palwinder Singh, ANM News : Asansol Municipal Corporation warned illegal occupants in different parts of Barakar. Under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Board member Chandrashekhar Kundu, the team of Engineer and Sanitation Department of the Corporation visited the area and did miking. Since then, there has been a stir among the illegal occupants in the area. The action was taken after repeated complaints by the citizens of Barakar. They have been asked to organize themselves by 12 o'clock on the coming Sunday night. Otherwise the Municipal Corporation itself will take appropriate action. Asansol Municipal Corporation board member Chandrashekhar Kundu said that there were constant complaints from the citizens of Barakar that illegal encroachments have been made at various places and above the high drain itself. Due to which people do not have space to walk and the high drain is not being cleaned. He said that it is okay for people to do business, but the facilities of the public will also have to be seen. Thousands of people cannot be put in trouble because of a few.
