Ahmedabad, March 4: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat on March 7 and 8. His visit aims to strengthen the party’s groundwork for the upcoming Assembly elections.
During his tour, Gandhi will hold meetings with district and state-level party workers, as well as senior Congress leaders, to discuss election strategies and mobilization efforts. The visit is seen as a crucial step in reviving the Congress's presence in the state, where the party has faced significant electoral setbacks in recent years.
According to party sources, discussions will focus on grassroots engagement, candidate selection, and key campaign issues to challenge the ruling BJP in Gujarat. Gandhi’s visit is also expected to boost the morale of party workers ahead of the elections.
