BSF officials said the drone had returned to Pakistan after being shot down. "A rogue drone coming from Pakistan was shot down and intercepted by BSF personnel in Amritsar sector," bsf Punjab Frontier said. After the firing, the drone returned to Pakistan. A search operation is underway. Last week, the Amritsar Rural Police and the BSF had seized two kilograms of heroin and a drone from Bachiwind village near the border in Amritsar. A farmer spotted the drone while working in the field. He immediately informed the police and informed the BSF officials. On receiving the information, BSF officials recovered the drone and started an investigation. A case has been registered at Lopok police station and the matter is being investigated, police sources said.
