Punjab CM Announces 1 Crore Ex-gratia For Shubhkaran Singh's Family

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced ex-gratia Rs. One crore for deceased farmer Shubhkaran Singh's family on 23rd February, Friday. 

Moreover, Bhagwant Mann also declared a government job for Shubhkaran Singh's younger sister. Further, he asserted that action would be taken against responsible individuals.

Furthermore, BKU leader Balbir Singh Rajewal on Thursday announced that 23rd February (today) will be observed as a 'Black day' in response to the death of the farmer. 

Reportedly, a protester named Shubh Karan Singh lost his life due to firing during a clash between farmers and police at Khanauri border. However, the Haryana police have categorically denied the accusation.
